Our client is looking for a Compliance Associate to support their growing finance and legal teams within a mission-driven organization in the financial services sector.
Location: Must live in Texas (Hybrid/Partial Remote – must be able to travel periodically to Waco, TX)
Key Job Duties:
You'll work directly with senior leadership to manage and evolve compliance programs—ensuring alignment with ever-changing regulations and maintaining integrity across business operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Advising staff on compliance and contract matters
- Monitoring regulatory updates and communicating impact
- Overseeing state licensing for lending and servicing activities
- Reviewing marketing materials and new products for compliance
- Leading compliance training and managing contract oversight
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of relevant compliance experience, preferably in financial services
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field
- Strong understanding of consumer protection laws and regulatory environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A proactive and analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
