Year 6 Teaching Assistant Job - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Hays Education are currently working with a Partnership school located in West Leeds (LS25) to recruit a full-time year 6 teaching assistant to start as soon as possible on a temporary basis. This teaching assistant job will be Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 15:30pm. The school requires someone who has experience of managing behaviour in the classroom, has in-depth knowledge of KS2 and has experience supporting students in their SATS.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job it is essential you have;Recent experience working with KS2Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or qualified by experience)The ability to manage groups of children and be able to manage challenging behaviourThe ability to quickly build good relationships with students, parents and other practitionersHave previous experience working with SEN and EAL childrenIn addition, it is ideal that you are;Highly adaptable as there may be instances where you will have to cover in various classesConfident, organised and, at times, diplomaticPatient and creativeHave a proven track record of developing childrenDBS on the update serviceWhat you need to do now:If you're interested in this role, please respond to this with an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Michael now on .
