About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and supportive Teaching Assistant to assist in a Year?6 class. You will be working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support to groups and individuals-including those with additional needs-and contribute to creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily learning activities in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects.
- Delivering small-group or one-to-one interventions under teacher guidance.
- Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management and resource setup.
- Monitoring pupil progress and behaviour and reporting effectively to teachers.
- Assisting with pastoral and social development as needed.

What We're Looking For
- Experience with primary school children, preferably at KS2 or Year?6 level.
- A calm, positive and patient demeanour, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a classroom team and independently when required.
- Ideally GCSEs (C/4 or above) in English and Mathematics, and/or NVQ Level?2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning-but not essential
