We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Ribble Valley for a long-term temporary role starting in September 2025.

The RoleAs a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership teams to support pupil development.
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, respectful learning space.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 5 pupils.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A proactive and nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
