SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Islington, who are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 for the full academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' learning while developing your skills in a supportive KS2 environment.

The Role

• Provide dedicated support to pupils in Year 4 through 1:1 and small group work

• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons

• Support children with varying learning needs, encouraging progress and independence

• Promote positive behaviour and help create a focused, welcoming classroom environment

• Play an active role in the wider school community, fostering an inclusive learning culture

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in KS2 (Year 4 experience desirable)

• Strong behaviour management and a proactive, hands-on attitude

• Enthusiasm for education and supporting children's development

• Adaptability and the ability to meet the needs of all learners
