Primary School Teacher: Wigan & Surrounding Areas - September 2025

Randstad Education is actively recruiting for passionate and adaptable Primary School Teachers to join our network of schools in Wigan and the surrounding areas. We are seeking dedicated professionals to support a diverse range of primary schools, with roles available across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum.

  • Manage a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting excellent behaviour and a love for learning.

  • Accurately assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic growth of every child.

  • Participate in wider school life, including staff meetings and professional development.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of either the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Exceptional classroom management and communication skills.

  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to different school environments.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and a genuine passion for making a difference in children's education.
