Are you a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher with excellent phonics experience? TimePlan Education are working in partnership with a fantastic primary school who are seeking a Year 1 teacher to join them. Located in the London borough of Camden, this primary school has access to excellent transport links. As a leading school, graded 'Outstanding' throughout their latest Ofsted report it is an exciting time to join the team!

The KS1 / Year 1 Teacher is for a long-term cover to start in April 2024. The position will be until the end of the academic year and will go permanent in September 2024. The school pride themselves on providing a nurturing environment, offering great support in your work with a collaborative senior leadership team.

The ideal qualified primary teacher would need experience teaching phonics, and a strong understanding of Read Write Inc programme.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and experience teaching phonics.
• Experience with Read Write Inc methods.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Passion for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
