Windows System Engineer (SCCM, Powershell, Windows OS, Citrix)

Working alongside a huge player in the Financial Services Industry who are looking to reinforce their Systems team with the addition of a Senior Systems Engineer.
Primary Responsibilities will include :

- Engineering Windows builds, integrating Windows desktop operating systems and core applications.
- Using Automation and QA methods to ensure the consistent service of the Workplace Environment.
- Developing Disaster Recovery Solutions built on Acronis, Powershell, VMware and SQL.
- Analysing of existing infrastructure to meet service level agreements.
- Troubleshooting, Administration and providing L3 Technical Support for Desktops and Disaster Recovery Solution
- Additional Support on Windows, Citrix, SCCM, InTune, Citrix VDA, Azure
Qualifications and Required Skills

- 10+ Years of experience with Windows desktop, VDI and Citrix technologies - admin, maintenance and deployments in an enterprise-engineering position.
- Strong troubleshooting mind-set (i.e. parsing event log, Sysinternals tools, dump analysis).
- PowerShell, .NET, C#, C++
- Acronis backup / P2V conversions
- Github, jira, confluence and software release pipelines
- VMware ESX, VC, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop technologies.
- Active Directory / GPO.
- Windows 11 features and deployment strategies.
- SCCM, InTune, Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop, VMware, XenServer.
- Systrack, LiquidWare, App-v, login VSI and Office 365 is desirable.
- Knowledge of delivering stateless desktops with streamed application or layered applications using Citrix App Layering, Citrix NetScaler with Insight/Command Center and NMAS, Citrix StoreFront multi region and RSA multi-factor would be a plus.
