Workshop Assistant - Gillingham

£12.77 per hour

Monday to Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm

We're looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a busy and friendly manufacturing team in Gillingham.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who's confident using hand tools, can follow assembly instructions, and enjoys practical work.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Working with hand tools to measure, drill, cut, and assemble materials

• Following written and verbal instructions to complete assembly tasks

• Supporting the team to keep the workshop running smoothly and safely

• Using workshop equipment to produce high-quality work

• Checking your work meets quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

• Some experience in a workshop or similar environment

• Confident using hand tools

• Able to read and follow basic assembly instructions or drawings

• Good attention to detail

• A team player with a strong work ethic

• Reliable, punctual, and honest
