We are seeking a competent Woodwork Technician to join our team. This role involves operating machinery in our workshop and preparing teaching materials to support teachers in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background and experience working in a similar environment.

• Operate various woodworking machinery and tools within the workshop safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources for classroom activities.
• Support teachers during classroom sessions by setting up equipment and materials.
• Maintain and ensure all woodworking tools and machinery are in good working condition.
• Assist in the development of new teaching materials and techniques in woodwork.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop and classroom.

• Proven experience as a Woodwork Technician or similar role in an educational or industrial setting.
• Strong background in the woodworking industry.
• Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and tools.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
