Woodwork Technician

We are seeking a competent Woodwork Technician to join our team. This role involves operating machinery in our workshop and preparing teaching materials to support teachers in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background and experience working in a similar environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operate various woodworking machinery and tools within the workshop safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources for classroom activities.
- Support teachers during classroom sessions by setting up equipment and materials.
- Maintain and ensure all woodworking tools and machinery are in good working condition.
- Assist in the development of new teaching materials and techniques in woodwork.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop and classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Woodwork Technician or similar role in an educational or industrial setting.
- Strong background in the woodworking industry.
- Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and tools.
- Knowledge of safety and health regulations in a workshop environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
