Wood Machinist - Mixxos Group : Job Details

Key Responsibilities for a Wood Machinist:

• Operate woodworking machinery (Planer, Thicknesser, Spindle Moulder, Tenoner, Saws, etc.)
• Produce both bespoke and high-volume joinery components
• Read and follow technical drawings and written instructions
• Work with the team to determine best machining methods and tooling
• Report discrepancies before production begins

Key Skills for a Wood Machinist:

• Proven experience as a Wood Machinist
• Strong joinery and machining skills
• Ability to read technical drawings
• NVQ or City & Guilds in Wood Machining- desirable
• Experience with CNC machinery- desirable
