Job Title: Waste Processing Operative (Loading Shovel Driver)Location: DundeeRemuneration: £17.49 per hourContract Details: Temporary

Rotating Shift Pattern - Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:Are you ready to take on a vital role in the waste management sector? Join us as a Waste Processing Operative, where you'll be at the heart of our clients operations! Your key responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently managing waste acceptance and processing.
• Ensuring safe and compliant traffic direction in the MSW hall.
• Assisting with hammer changes in the Hammer Mill.
• Maintaining plant housekeeping to a high standard.
• Supporting remedial works to the bubbling fluidised bed as needed.
• Operating plant machinery safely, including loading shovels and forklifts.

Key Objectives:Your primary objective will be to facilitate the safe and efficient reception and handling of waste feedstock. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clients EfW CHP Facility.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Proficiency in operating mobile plant machinery, including loading shovels, and/or telehandlers, and forklifts.

Ideal Skills Include:

• MPQC, EU Skills, NPORS, CPCS A21 (Wheeled Loading Shovel) certifications.
• NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plant Operations.

What We Offer:

• A full-time position with a day shift rota based on around 40 hours per week.
• An hourly rate of £17.49.
