Waste OperativeLocation: WhitbyHours: Monday to Friday 7am until 4.30pm with 2 half an hour breaksGi Group are recruiting for an Industrial Recycling Operative for one of our clients based in the Whitby area.The Recycling Operative will join a team of people working for a company providing waste management and segregation services to customers.Key Duties:- Segregation of large waste materials and bulky recyclables- Following the instruction of the supervisor to ensure smooth running of the site- Working as part of a small team to ensure smooth running of site- To carry out any other duties required for the day-to-day safe operation of the site- Ensure the site is hazard free, kept tidy and swept at all times, all wastes must be removed from grounds and placed within correct recycling storage bin- Full training given to the right applicant who is keen to learnPersonal Attributes and other Requirements:- Good timekeeper- Reliable and Hardworking- Good Communication Skills- Must be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting involvedThis is an on-going position and if the candidate shows the right attitude for the role you may be offered a Permanent contract with career progression.Please call Sophie or Jon on for more information or apply today for immediate start!
