Yorkshire Collaboration (Barnsley Council) are looking for 8 Waste Collection Operatives for a temporary full-time position based at Smithies Lane Depot in Barnsley. This role requires physical fitness due to the nature of the work, which includes lifting heavy items and working outdoors.

• Collecting waste and recyclables from designated locations.
• Operating waste collection vehicles if you possess a valid UK driving licence.
• Following route assignments as directed and completing daily collection schedules.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations while handling waste materials.
• Working efficiently to meet collection targets and maintain schedules.

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislations related to waste collection.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work early hours from 6.00am to 15.45pm, Monday to Friday.
