The Position

Applications are invited for a Wash Operative at the SecAnim, Widnes site. This is a full time, permanent position working 12-hour shifts, days and nights, on 3 week shift pattern. You will also be required to work additional cover shifts to cover for sickness/holiday absence.

As a Wash Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

• Washing and disinfecting vehicles and trailers.
• Tipping loaded raw material trailers and vehicles where required.
• Maintaining good standards of housekeeping in the vehicle wash and associated areas around the site.
• Completing work records as required including wash certification.
• Daily checks of trailers on site.
• Tipping and cleaning raw material bins as required.
• Any other ad hoc duties as required by management.

The Person

• Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Must be able to prioritise the workload.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be flexible with working hours.
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work as a team and use their own initiative.
• Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous although training will be provided where necessary.
