Bedford

5:00am to 1:00pm & 6:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday

From 21st May Onwards - Temp to Perm

£28,000 per annum

Are you a natural leader with a passion for driving excellence in warehouse operations? Do you have experience supervising teams and ensuring smooth workflow? Join our client’s team at their Bedford distribution centre as a Warehouse Supervisor and play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day activities and fostering a positive work environment!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse operatives to ensure efficient and accurate order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members to help them meet performance targets and develop their skills.
• Monitoring workflow and productivity levels to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimise efficiency.
• Conducting regular team meetings to communicate goals, review performance, and address any issues or concerns.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Collaborating with other supervisors and managers to achieve departmental objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handling escalated issues and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
