Warehouse Operator - Greencore : Job Details

Nights - Sunday to Friday 9pm-5:30am

A distribution depot serving convenience retailers and forecourts in the region.

What you'll be doing:

Lead the team to ensure that they pick and despatch the required products that can be delivered to our customers and distribution centres in a timely manner, consistently operating efficiently thus ensuring the quality and safety of food goods and compliance with legislative and group standards.

• Breaking down stock/orders in our Warehouse.
• Ensuring all orders are being accurately broken down/put to correct routes/delivery pallets for drivers
• Ensuring delivery notes are on every stock for delivery
• Chilled environment
• Logging product shortages and reporting them to the Management Team at the depot
• Ensuring all trays are stacked and kept in the designated place before the shift ends
• Maintaining the depot's cleanliness and tidiness in work areas at all times
• Ensuring all PPE issued is worn at all times

What we're looking for

Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:

• Experience working within a chilled warehouse is preferred but not essential
• Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
• Problem solving skills
• Good communicator and ability to work in a team
