Warehouse Operative, Night Shift - Willis Global Ltd : Job Details

A leading logistics and freight forwarding organisation, offering sea, air, and road freight forwarding as well as providing Worldwide supply chain logistics solutions for clients of all sizes, is looking to recruit a Perishables Warehouse Operative, Night Shift to be based at a warehouse facility in the Heathrow Area.

Working Hours:

4 on, 4 off shift pattern - 7pm-7am.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Perishables Warehouse Operative will be responsible for carrying out perishables warehouse operational duties within a busy freight forwarding warehouse facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Labelling shipments
• Repacking shipments
• Building and breaking down pallets
• Handling perishable goods
• Booking goods in and out of the warehouse
• Completing of relevant reports.

To Be Considered:

• Proven experience working as a Perishables Warehouse Operative, ideally within a freight forwarding or perishables environment
• To hold a full Counter Balance Forklift License
• Have a 5 year checkable work history.
• Good communication skills
• Flexible working availability
• Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.
• Ability to work well under time pressure
