Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm)

• Location:, Balliol Business Park Benton Newcastle upon Tyne
• Hourly Rate: £15.18 per hour
• Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off rotation 6am - 6pm
• Start Date: ASAP
• Interview Dates: 25th 8th 2025

Gi Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a temp-to-perm basis for a leading pharmaceutical client based in, Balliol Business Park, Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with long-term prospects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Picking and packing of pharmaceutical products* Stock control and inventory management* Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch* General warehouse duties including loading/unloading stock* Ensuring all items are stored and handled correctly

Important Requirement:

Due to the nature of the role, full PPE gowning is required for the picking aspect of the job, which is a significant part of the role and not typical of usual warehouse positions. Full training and support will be provided to ensure compliance with strict safety standards.

Essential Criteria:

* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment* Ability to follow health and safety guidelines strictly* Must be able to work on a 4-day on, 4-day off rotation* Immediate start
