Warehouse Operative - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyA well-established and growing organisation based in Lisburn is seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant to join their team. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines warehouse operations, customer service, administration, and occasional delivery driving.

Your new roleYou will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the business, supporting both the warehouse and front-of-house functions. Your responsibilities will include handling incoming calls and general customer enquiries, providing basic product and pricing information, placing orders and liaising with suppliers to maintain stock levels. Coordinating collections and deliveries with transport companies. Serving customers at the trade counter. Receiving and checking incoming deliveries and picking, packing, and checking customer orders for dispatch. Conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate records and keeping the warehouse clean and organised. Supporting van deliveries as required and assisting with basic manufacturing tasks when needed.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will have previous experience in a warehouse or trade counter environment. Strong communication and customer service skills and a proactive and organised approach to work. Basic computer literacy and a full UK driving licence (essential for delivery duties). A flexible attitude and willingness to support across different areas of the business.
