Warehouse Operative - First Recruitment Services : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well-established electrical supplier company based in Portslade, Brighton. You’ll have previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment, with responsibilities including goods-in and goods-out processes, picking and inspecting orders, and handling heavy loads.

As a Warehouse Operative, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Picking, packing, and inspecting goods for dispatch
• Storing goods correctly and safely within the warehouse
• Operating labelling machines
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Driving forklifts
• Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stock takes

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience in a warehouse setting
• Forklift experience (preferred but not essential)

This is a full time permanent position working in a warehouse based in Portslade, Brighton. You’ll be working Monday to Thursday between 8:30am-9am to 5pm-5:30pm & Fridays 8:30am-9am to 4:00pm-4:30pm on an annual salary of £25,000.
