Warehouse Operative - Hiring People : Job Details

Our client is one of the largest and established wholesaler of smoking paraphernalia in the United Kingdom and they are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team at their offices in London (SW19).

Working alongside the Warehouse Manager, you will support the team with ordering, checking, recording, packing and sending all customer orders whilst maintaining tight security of the warehouse and undertaking to keep the working space clean and tidy.

Other Responsibilities:

• Counting in stock and recording inaccuracies
• Re-stocking shelves and fridges as required
• Re-labelling storage as needed

The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to undertake First Aid and/or Fire Marshall training.

Essential Experience Required:

• Previous experience within a similar role or industry would be an advantage
• First rate customer service skills
• Good IT skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
• The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Positive with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude to work
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious

Job details:

• Warehouse Operative
• Salary: £26,325 per annum (£13.50 per hour)
• Location: London (SW19) 
• Full-time, Monday to Friday (Mondays 9am to 6:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 6:30pm and Fridays 10am to 5:30pm) with one hour lunch and 2 x 15 minute breaks (AM and PM)
