Band 2 - £11.45/hr - 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00 & 16.00

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative that is interested in supporting your local NHS Services in delivering high-quality care for approximately 750,000 people in central Manchester?

The Trust have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. You will be working in the hospital Pharmacy Stores which holds all medicines for the hospital's inpatients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Moving stock using manual and electric pallet trucks, trolleys, and cages.
  • Unpacking pallets and boxes.
  • Assisting in checking and booking in deliveries.
  • Physically active job involving a lot of walking, being on their feet all day, and lots of lifting and lowering.
  • Training to load the Automated Dispensing System (Robots) as well as fixing basic errors on these.

To be considered for this role:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or in retail would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • Physically able to work long hours on your feet.
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn the role and work at pace.
