Position: Warehouse Operative (Forklift)Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire.Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annumOur client is a leading logistics company, offering innovative supply chain solutions with a commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.The Role:As a Warehouse Operative, you will work within the logistics department dealing with order fulfilment to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.Main Responsibilities:* Use a handheld picking gun (RF scanner) to locate and pick products according to order lists.* Verify items by scanning barcodes to ensure accuracy in quantity, product type, and location.* Communicate with the team via Microsoft Teams to:o Resolve order issues such as missing stock, substitutions, or damages.o Address and complete any unpicks that need to be actioned.o Liaise with Embroidery, Picking, and Packing teams to ensure orders progress to meet Static ETA requirements.* Place picked items in designated crates for processing orders, ensuring they remain below door height.* Pick, pack, and dispatch Non-AP (non-branded) orders.* Support the packing team during peak workloads.* Report inventory discrepancies or damages promptly.* Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.* Assist with stock replenishment and warehouse organisation.* Follow all health, safety, and warehouse policies.About You:Applicants should have strong attention to detail, and experience working with RF scanners or picking guns. You will need to be proficient in using Microsoft Teams (or similar platforms) and demonstrate good problem-solving skills.Required:* Experience using an RF scanner or picking gun (preferred).* Ability to use Microsoft Teams (or similar platforms) for order communication and updates.* Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling orders.* Good problem-solving skills to quickly resolve issues and unpicks.* Physically fit - able to stand/walk for long periods and lift heavy boxes.* Team player with clear and professional communication skills.* Basic literacy and numeracy skills.Commutable Locations:Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford, Wallingford, Wantage, Harwell Key Words:Warehouse Operative, Logistics, Order Fulfilment, Inventory Management, Picking and Packing
