Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

We're thrilled to be working with our client, a leading name in their sector, to find a skilled Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their growing team. Position: Warehouse Operative / Forklift DriverContract Type: Temp to PermHours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PMPay Rate: £12.75 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:In this role, you'll be at the heart of warehouse operations, making sure everything runs smoothly from goods-in to goods-out. Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading & Unloading: Safely and efficiently load/unload vehicles.

• Stock Control: Use handheld devices to locate and manage materials and finished goods.

• Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack customer orders with precision.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and the Warehouse Manager to meet daily targets.

• Safety & Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse and yard clean, safe, and organised.

• Equipment Checks: Carry out pre-use inspections on forklifts and other machinery.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate paperwork and cycle counts.

• Valid counterbalance and reach truck licences.
