Warehouse  Operations Manager
  • Location: London, NW6 (Primary), occasional travel to Ledbury, Herefordshire
  • Job Type: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential to extend)
  • Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Join our team as a Production and Fulfilment Operations Manager, overseeing and optimising our fulfilment and print production processes at our London Head Office and coordinating with our larger warehouse in Ledbury.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and supervise a small team in production and fulfilment tasks.
  • Develop and oversee production schedules to ensure timely completion of print jobs.
  • Refine warehouse and printing processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order processing.
  • Facilitate communication between locations regarding logistics, including coordination with our painting studio in Wuxi.
  • Maintain accurate stock control for raw materials and finished products.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for printing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with fire rating and safety regulations for production materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies for timely delivery of goods.
  • Prepare reports on production and fulfilment operations for management review.
  • Travel to the Ledbury site approximately once every two weeks for coordination tasks.
  • Assist in loading large rolls onto large format printers.
  • Ensure that warehouse staff comply with health and safety regulations and undertake mandatory training.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in production scheduling.
  • Fulfilment or logistics experience is preferable.
  • Strong team management skills to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Experience with printer operations and maintenance is desirable.
  • Understanding of fire rating and compliance standards for production materials is ideal.
  • Ability to lift large, heavy wallpaper rolls.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
