Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and development to enhance performance.
• Implement strategic warehouse operations improvements by applying your previous experience and knowledge.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are adhered to at all times.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize storage and minimize costs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics and timely delivery of goods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies to increase efficiency.
• Handle freight operations with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
• Operate and manage forklift operations, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a freight and logistics environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Experience in implementing innovative ideas and strategies in warehouse operations.
• Forklift license is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
