This role requires strong leadership, hands-on, organisational skills, and a focus on continuous improvement to maintain world-class warehouse standards.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management
  • Oversee / hands-on with day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels through accurate inventory control systems.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse layout and space management strategies.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Process & System Efficiency
  • Implement best practices for warehouse operations to improve speed, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Work with CRM systems to track inventory and improve data accuracy.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries if required.
  • Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance, KPIs, and improvement plans.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and understanding safety protocols within a warehouse environment
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector preferred.
  • Certification in warehouse management, inventory control, or safety management will be an advantage.
