Warehouse Manager - Car Audio & Security Ltd : Job Details

We’re a retail business looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to join our team, keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly, and guide our small warehouse team forward in the long-term.

Our warehouse is a fast paced retail warehouse, with the majority of the team focussed on picking & packing. We need an experienced manager to join, land on their feet, and oversee the warehouse operations. This role is very much 'hands on/on your feet', supporting the team in different areas throughout the day. Ensuring procedures are followed correctly by the team, and making improvements where you see necessary.

Reporting directly to our Senior Management Team, this role represents our entire warehouse team. You will be the contact point for all other departments (sales, workshop, admin).

We need a strong, experienced leader looking to make an impact, and push our busy warehouse team forward.

ROLE WILL INVOLVE:

• Overseeing the daily duties of the team, and filling in to help when/where necessary (Picking and packing parcels, stock checks, deliveries/goods-in, stock organisation).
• Creating and managing the staff rota. 10-15 person team, 5 day week, operating Mon-Sat.
• Maintaining and improving our existing policies and procedures (Operations Health & Safety).
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Previous warehouse management experience.
• Strong attention to detail. (Procedures and health & safety).
• A creative and problem solving mindset.
• Confident leading a small team.
• Good verbal communication skills.

OTHER DETAILS:

• Salary depending on experience.
• Working hours: 9:15am-6:30pm Monday-Saturday. 5 day working week with Saturday's done on a rota system.
• Based in Hayes, West London, UB3 3NF.
