Warehouse Manager - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Title: Warehouse ManagerLocation: LouthSalary: up to £45,000Elevation Recruitment Group's Procurement & Supply Chain division are partnering exclusively with a key client based in Louth as they look to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager. The business we’re working with have an annual turnover of circa £100m+ and operate across 30+ Production sites, offering plenty of development and progression opportunities. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with the Supply Chain Director to manage a team and execute the day-to-day activity of the warehouse and despatch areas. This role offers development, autonomy, and an excellent shift pattern.

Key duties of the Warehouse Manager will include: 

• Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse and materials team, managing recruitment, training, and performance while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Maintain clear and effective communication across teams and shifts to ensure alignment on priorities, performance expectations, and changes in process.
• Drive operational efficiency through effective planning, cost control, and accurate inventory and transaction management, ensuring alignment with customer service goals.
• Utilise ERP systems, particularly Microsoft NAV, to streamline operations, enhance inventory visibility, and support decision-making.
• Ensure a customer-focused, right-first-time approach by promoting high quality standards, process adherence, and continuous improvement across all warehouse and materials functions.

Key Skills & Experience required:

• Proven warehouse management experience, including leading and developing teams in fast-paced environments, ideally within a 24-hour manufacturing or logistics operation.
• Technically proficient with ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
• Holder of a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck Licence, with practical experience operating material handling equipment safely.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid numerical and analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to drive informed decisions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
