Our client is a leading Electronics Wholesaler based in The New Forest, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised Warehouse Manager to play a key role in the smooth operation of the warehouse. In this crucial position, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Role overview:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including basic electrical items (knowledge of electrical systems a plus!).
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure and hazard-free work environment for all staff.
  • Develop and optimise warehouse procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff (very small team) to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide objectives.
  • Hours are 9am to 5pm (37 hours per week) Flexibility can be offered if required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in warehouse management / supervisor level or a similar logistics role.
  • A basic understanding of electrical products and equipment maintenance.
  • A proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and engage your team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
  • The ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • A forklift license is highly desirable (training provided if needed!).
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • A proactive attitude and a knack for problem-solving.
