Our client are an SME established hi-val freight forwarder based in Colnbrook and have a new position available for a 3.5T Van Driver to join as a new member of security personnel.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 09:00-18:00, with optional overtime available. We provide full on-the-job training, so while experience in secure logistics is desirable, it’s not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing: 3.5t Van Driver

• Carrying out secure collections and deliveries in line with operating procedures
• Ensuring all goods are packed, secured, and documented correctly
• Operating a company vehicle (3.5t) and conducting daily vehicle checks
• Liaising with clients and external security partners during collections and deliveries
• Using a handheld device to track and record movements
• Maintaining a clean, professional appearance and upholding high standards of customer service
• Following all company security and health & safety procedures
• Reporting any issues or incidents promptly to your manager

What We’re Looking For:

Essential: 3.5t Van Driver

• Hold a full UK driving Licence, whilst a clean licence is pref, up to SP 6pts is considered
• Strong communication skills, with good verbal and written English
• Able to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines
• Basic IT/ smartphone proficiency
• Be a team player in the transport team as well as working alongside all other colleagues
• Professional appearance and team player attitude
• Steady 5 year employment record with NO or Verified gaps
• NO criminal record and will pass a DBS check

Desirable: 3.5t Van Driver

• Experience transporting valuable goods
• Experience driving 3.5t vehicles
• Knowledge of the local area and Central London

Employment Terms for the 3.5t Van Driver.

Location: Colnbrook, Slough

• Competitive Salary £28-29k basic plus overtime
• 28 days per annum (including 8 national holidays).
