Valuation Surveyor - Cobalt Recruitment : Job Details

Cobalt are working with a leading real estate advisory firm who are seeking a Commercial Valuation Surveyor to join their growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Surveyor through to Senior Surveyor looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

• Carry out commercial property valuations across a broad range of asset classes, including investment, development, BTR, income-producing assets.
• Prepare concise, accurate valuation reports ready for Director review and sign-off.
• Manage valuation instructions with a high degree of independence while collaborating with the wider valuation team.
• Identify opportunities to grow the North West valuation business and contribute to wider strategic ambitions.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver client-focused solutions.

About You

• MRICS/FRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer.
• Strong working knowledge of the RICS 'Red Book'.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to property issues, with excellent report-writing and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ideally valuation software (e.g., KEL, Argus Developer), although training can be provided.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
