Your Role and Responsibilities

As our lead Valuation Surveyor, you will be the cornerstone of our valuation team, reporting directly to the Head of Valuations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Valuations: Performing a wide range of Red Book valuations for secured lending, drawing on your expertise in various property types, including Industrial, Retail, Residential, Mixed Use, Offices, and HMOs.

• Site Inspections & Analysis: Undertaking thorough site inspections and precise measurements. You will meticulously assemble property information and review searches to inform your professional judgment.

• Expert Reporting: Crafting and delivering high-quality, timely valuation reports that are clear, concise, and defensible. You'll also review and analyze occupational leases to understand their impact on value.

• Market Insight: Applying your deep understanding of the local property market to provide expert advice and produce accurate valuations that reflect current trends and conditions.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicating your findings and insights, both verbally and in writing, to clients and internal teams.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated professional with the following essential skills and qualifications:

• RICS & Valuer Status: You must be MRICS/FRICS qualified and an active RICS Registered Valuer.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in valuation.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in MS Office packages.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional report writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a clean Professional Indemnity (PI) record.

• Market Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the local property market.

• Communication & Organisation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organisational and time management abilities to manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.

• Mobility: A full UK driving licence is required for site inspections.
