Your new companyYou will be working for a prominent international financial group with global reach. They also focus on innovation and sustainability and the business supports long-term growth through digital transformation and ESG initiatives.Your new roleYou will be an interim Analyst for EMEA Valuations for an initial 12 months. Your responsibilities will be to:

• Design, update and maintain the team's automated diary to reflect the changing landscape around requirements as a result of various projects
• Verify and challenge the integrity of the market data used within the valuations
• Support European and other branches with rate provisioning and any other requirements around valuation
• Communicate with ETD and other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data is acceptable and meets the requirements
• Use revaluation system knowledge to assist colleagues both within Product Control and external parties
• Engage in conversations with Head of EV around new initiatives to deliver efficiently on requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to work unaided and recognise the key risks pertaining to their actions
• Must have the drive to move projects forward and implement creative ideas to the processes to increase efficiency
• Apply a thorough and diligent approach to their work, with attention to detail being paramount
• Being confident to make challenges, both upwards to line manager and downwards too
• Advanced Excel & Access
• A good understanding of valuation practices and the effect on the P/L reporting and also risk valuations, sensitivities and local historical VaR resulting from the market data applied by the team
