Job Description :
Join mhs Homes, Medway’s largest housing association, and take charge of managing utilities across our estate. You’ll oversee 550+ landlord electricity, gas, and water meters, handle business rates and service charges, and manage an annual spend of over £1m.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage utilities for all properties, including corporate sites, schemes, voids, and new developments.
  • Ensure accurate billing, submit meter reads, and complete Change of Tenancy requests.
  • Lead smart meter upgrades and utility tenders to secure best rates.
  • Process payments, maintain records, and provide performance reports.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all utility queries and support sustainability goals.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience managing utilities and understanding energy markets.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Desirable: CEM, ISO 50001, IWFM Level 3+, housing sector experience.
