The role

You will:

• Underwrite Property & Casualty New Business, working within appetite and authority levels
• Build and maintain strong trading relationships with regional brokers
• Negotiate flexibly to maximise conversion rates and profitability
• Support regional growth strategy, delivering against income and profit targets
• Work closely with colleagues across claims, survey and technical teams

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Underwriting (New Business preferred)
• Strong broker relationships and effective negotiation skills
• Proven ability to deliver results against targets
• A proactive, collaborative and commercial mindset
• Progress toward ACII is advantageous (but not essential)
