At Adaptable Recruitment we have an Excellent Opportunity for an Underwriter Assistant to join a growing & reputable company in Liverpool City Centre working in a brilliant office environment. Main responsibilities to include:

• Supporting the preparation of cost models for new business and renewal quotes
• Analysing client and market data to inform pricing decisions
• Working closely with colleagues across Underwriting, Analytics, and Sales
• Learning how to interpret trends and risks to develop sound underwriting recommendations
• Helping to improve and streamline internal modelling tools and processes over time

• Degree-educated (ideally in a numerate subject - Maths, Economics, Stats, Actuarial Science, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with an eye for detail
• Comfortable working with data (Excel is a must - bonus points for any experience with modelling or coding!)
• A proactive learner with a problem-solving mindset
• A clear communicator who's happy working both independently and as part of a team
