Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to secure funding from trusts, foundations, and philanthropists.

  • Research and identify new grant opportunities aligned with organisational goals.
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals and grant applications.
  • Ensure timely reporting to funders, demonstrating the impact of their contributions.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to align funding opportunities with project needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of funding activities and donor communications.
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in philanthropy and grant-making.

Profile

A successful Trust and Philanthropy Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of the funding landscape, including trusts and foundations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders and donors.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems or donor management tools.
  • A passion for supporting impactful initiatives in the not-for-profit sector.
