Treasury Analyst - £20.49 to £23.09 per hour6-Month Temporary ContractLocation: Knowsley
Adele Carr Recruitment are representing a well-established business who are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their Finance team on a 6-month temporary basis.
This role reports directly to the UK & Ireland Finance Director and will play a key part in providing cash management services and supporting group treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor and manage daily cash-flows for the UK, creating accurate cash-flow reports to improve efficiency.
- Oversee inter-company funding and cash movements across subsidiaries, reviewing their cash-flow forecasts.
- Liaise with credit control and project accountants to forecast incoming cash.
- Process and authorise treasury payments, FX deals, bonds and other financial instruments.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of hedging transactions.
- Prepare treasury-related reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and audit requirements.
- Leverage ERP and other systems to drive accuracy and efficiency.
- Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements for cash management.
- Roll out reporting and cash-flow tools to other subsidiaries once established in the UK.
- Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental standards as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in treasury roles, including cash-flow production and management.
- Strong accountancy understanding (accountancy qualification desirable but not essential).
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience of ERP and TMS systems.
- Global currency exposure.
- At least 3 years experience in a busy and demanding finance office environment.
Desirable:
- Experience with bonding facilities, cash pooling, large global parent companies, hedging, and FX exposure.
