Treasury Analyst - Halliday Marx : Job Details

Halliday Marx have partnered with a large media firm to recruit an Intelligent graduate to join there Treasury team on an interim basis for 6 months. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their finance career underway.

This role has hybrid working

Responsibilities

• Processing Treasury settlements
• Analysing and Interpreting Financial Data
• Navigating a number of banking and proprietary systems
• New Agency set up/removal
• Bank Reconciliation support on Trading activities
• Investigating settlement issues
• Analysing Internal/External trading activity
• Cash administration
• ad-hoc tasks as required
• Processing and monitoring centralised Wire/Intercompany payments
• Agency payment file & transaction monitoring
• Ensuring relevant payment information captured in internal Treasury systems.
• Liaising with payment system vendors
• Liaising with and resolving payment queries with partner banks
• Training new agency users
• Identify opportunities to add further value and improve system and processes

Requirements

• Minimum of a 2:1 in a Maths / STEM related degree
• Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
• Good sense of humour
