TRANSPORT CLERK NIGHTS

SUNDAY 18:00-06:00 & MONDAY TO THURSDAY 22:00-06:00

PAY RATE: £15.33 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, benefits and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties:

Working as a Transport Clerk for our client your duties will be:

• Coordinating and managing transport operations
• Scheduling deliveries and collections
• Briefing & De-briefing drivers
• Maintaining vehicle records
• Ensuring compliance
• Communicating with drivers
• Monitoring and Tracking

Essential Skills:

As a Transport Clerk, the following are essential:

• Proficient in Microsoft package
• Communication skills 
• Writing skills
• At least six months experience working in a transport environment
• Good knowledge of vehicle compliance – Servicing / defects
• Good knowledge of driver compliance – Tachomaster / infringements / driver holidays
• Have good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Able to support the Transport Manager in the day to day running of the transport department

Training:

• Industry related training and ongoing support
