We are seeking a dedicated Transport Admin to join our dynamic team at a leading haulage company. This role is crucial for managing the administrative tasks related to transportation operations, ensuring efficient and effective support to our logistics and fleet management teams.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate and schedule vehicle routes and driver assignments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, fuel usage, and other logistics data.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and generating transport-related reports.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, team members, and external partners to resolve any operational issues.
- Assist in the compliance with transport policies, regulations, and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a transport or logistics environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
