Transformation Project Manager

Location: London Sector: Professional Services (previous experience required)Contract Type: 24-month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £70,000 - £89,000 (based on experience)

Job Summary

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Transformation Project Manager to join our transformation team for a 24-month fixed-term contract. This role sits within our Transformation department (not IT) and focuses on delivering strategic business transformation initiatives across various business functions, including compliance, general counsel, and marketing. The successful candidate will support our growing portfolio of transformation projects that align with our company's expansion and operational model evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage business transformation projects across multiple departments, including compliance, general counsel, and marketing functions
• Develop and implement target operating models to support business growth and strategic objectives
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver transformation solutions that support business operations
• Drive change management initiatives and ensure the successful adoption of new processes and systems
• Collaborate with senior transformation team members and provide project leadership across the transformation portfolio
• Support the delivery of the transformation agenda for our leading offshore law and professional services firm
• Potentially deliver brief presentations as part of project communications and stakeholder engagement

Key Responsibility:

• Previous and relevant Business Transformation experience - this is critical and non-negotiable
• Target Operating Model development and implementation experience
• Business Transformation Project Management in the legal or similar professional services industry culture
• Transformation and Change experience with proven ability to deliver transformation agendas
• Business leadership and coaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to work with and support business stakeholders (clearly evidenced on CV and during interview)

Qualifications and requirements:

• Experience in leading offshore law and professional services firms
• Consultancy background (Big 4 or smaller niche consultancies with relevant transformation exposure)
• Background in the legal industry or a similar large corporate environment
• Experience providing business owners with clarity on achieving business and life goals
• No IT/Tech project management backgrounds - we are specifically looking for business transformation experience rather than technical project management
• Must demonstrate clear operating model experience and wider business exposure
• Candidates stepping out of or away from consultancy are welcome
• Strong stakeholder management and business support capabilities are essential
