Homebased with travel to sites

3 Month Contract

Day Rate from £450 via Umbrella Company

My client specialises in the delivery of essential public services, with over 50,000 people working in defence, transport, justice, immigration, healthcare, and other citizen services across our four regions: UK & Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Middle East.

They are looking for a Transformation Project Manager to join them on an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend for a further 3 months. The position is 80% homebased with 20% travel to sites across the UK with travel expenses paid. You will be working a 37.5 hour week spread across Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

The Role:

Supporting in the transformation and stabilisation of the organisation following significant growth and contract winds.

Key areas of focus will be:

  • Business Reporting
  • Business Process and Controls
  • Cost Management and looking at overhead cost spend.

Essential Skills

  • Strong Project Management Experience within a Business Transformation environment
  • Proven record of delivering transformation projects
  • Delivery and monitoring of project finances and commercial supply management.
  • Documenting communications to colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of transformation and change methodologies
  • Ability to manage a small team of Business Analysts
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Stakeholder communication and liaison skills
  • Engagement skills
  • Personable and able to fit well within the team environment.
  • Ability to consolidate processes currently in place and streamline/improve them.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in the Defence or Public Sectors
  • Prince2, MSP or other professional development
  • Knowledge of IT Transformation
  • Knowledge of System Integration
