Transactional Finance Manager| £40,000- £50,000| Blackburn (Hybrid) | 25 Days plus Bank Holidays | Fantastic benefits package & bonusAxon Moore is pleased to be working in partnership with an ever-growing business based in Blackburn, as they recruit for a Transactional Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. As Transactional Manager, you will be working within the groups finance function to maintain financial records while mentoring a team of Accounts Assistants. This includes identifying training requirements and performance plans. The ideal candidate will have a least three years’ previous experience in transactional team leader position.Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead, mentor and support a team of Accounts Assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate financial results.
• Assist the team with monthly bookkeeping activities for numerous entities as and when required in accordance with monthly deadlines
• Maintain and reconcile support for key P&L and Balance Sheet items
• Ensure all monthly bank reconciliations are undertaken by the team.
• Perform group review of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
• Ensure accuracy of financial information and investigate and discrepancies
• Build and maintain good working relationships
• Submit VAT returns to HMRC on a timely basis and assist with annual audit
• Annual production of statutory accounts
• Drive continuous improvement to gain efficiencies
• Ad hoc duties when required

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least three years’ previous experience within a transactional leadership position
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and precision
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Excel and IT skills
