We’re currently working with a highly regarded organisation in Glasgow that is looking to appoint an experienced Transactional Finance Manager to lead their transactional finance function on a 12-month interim contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and capable finance leader to play a key role in a well-established and dynamic finance team.

The Role:

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable. You will lead a medium-sized team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality finance service during a period of operational transformation and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop the transactional finance team across AP, AR, and cash

  • Oversee accurate and timely processing of all transactions in line with internal controls and compliance standards

  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Manage working capital and cash flow reporting

  • Support month-end close and audit processes related to transactional finance

  • Act as key contact for system upgrades or process change initiatives within the transactional space

  • Ensure strong stakeholder engagement across finance and wider business teams

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally within a large or complex organisation

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams

  • Expertise in transactional finance operations and process optimisation

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong systems experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP)
