Trainer (Interim)
  • Annual Salary: £250 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35)
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Job Type: Contract, 6 months starting in mid-September 2025

Join our client, an Arms-Length organisation sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, committed to providing better financial futures for everyone in need. We are seeking three interim Trainers to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of our training curriculum to external partners, ensuring excellent customer experiences and effective financial decision-making support.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the design, delivery, and evaluation of the approved training curriculum to external outsourcing partners.
  • Facilitate onboarding, upskilling, and briefings for frontline and first-line managers at our identified external partner.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance training materials and delivery mechanisms to improve speed to competency, colleague engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Measure the success of learning interventions and support enhancing skills and customer satisfaction through training needs analysis with clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Quality, Training, and Knowledge Team as well as Operations and other stakeholders.
  • Integrate learning and continuous improvement as part of the organisation's DNA, ensuring meaningful and impactful delivery using a variety of tools while minimising operational impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of facilitation experience, covering both technical and soft skills at frontline and first-line manager levels.
  • Proven ability in facilitating through various methods including workshops, virtual sessions, and coaching to support on-the-job learning.
  • Experience in training material design using a variety of delivery mechanisms (face-to-face, virtual, e-learning, distance learning, etc.).
  • Proficiency in reporting – able to gather data and identify outcome trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Good understanding of Learning and Development principles and practices.
  • Committed to self-development and self-reflection, continuously gathering information on the effectiveness of their own practice.
  • Passionate about making a difference and continuous development.
  • Organised and methodical with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build effective and collaborative relationships.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience:
  • Contact centre experience.
  • Training qualification.
