Key Responsibilities:Initially, you will focus on:
New business processing across investments, pensions, mortgages, and life insurance.
Handling valuations and client servicing tasks such as switches, rebalances, and withdrawals.
Liaising regularly with product providers, account managers, and clients.
Maintaining a strong knowledge of financial products and markets to meet regulatory and personal development needs.
With structured progression, your responsibilities will expand to include:
Preparing comprehensive analyses of clients' existing portfolios.
Providing technical support to Financial Advisers.
Performing complex financial calculations (e.g., income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling).
Collaborating closely with Advisers to research and formulate appropriate advice.
Preparing Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation.

Essential:
Previous experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser practice.
Highly organised and methodical with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Robust analytical and numerical skills.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
Experience with back-office systems like IO (Intelliflo).
Familiarity with financial platforms such as SelectaPension, Financial Express, Trigold, Assureweb, ExWeb, MiCap, abrdn, Aviva, and Aegon.
While not essential, a CII Diploma qualification is preferred. Candidates with significant financial services administration or paraplanning experience will also be considered.
Salary up to £36,000 per annum.
