A well established Chichester legal firm are looking to recruit a Trainee Legal Cashier on a permanent.

Description

As Trainee Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for:

• Processing financial transactions relating to client matters in a timely manner and in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
• Managing and reconciling supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed terms.
• Preparing payment runs, including BACS transfers and cheque payments.
• Processing petty cash and credit card expenditure.

Profile

• Previous experience working in a professional office preferred, although not essential
• Strong communication and team working skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Competent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
